  For me the only chain I used to frequent was Uno's but they seem to have dissapeared in the Bay Area :(

    Uno's out there couldn't possibly compare to the real (midweesst) thing. Their chain locations have never equalled their original loaction(s).

  If forced to to to a chain, I like Round Table. They do vary in quality between locations and some are better than others.

    I was gonna bring that up D but didn't know if they were a dirty word on this tribe. it far surpases any of the chains in the south or middle america in my humble opinion

      They would be a dirty word, but the question was chains. Otherwise I would be embarrassed to reveal that I ever went there!!
      
      The one I use sometimes really stacks on the topping, which I like.
      
      It is hard to beat all the independents in SF, though.
